1992 Postcard Self-Realization Fellowship Wishing Well Mandir in California
The Wishing Well Mandir is a favorite pilgrimage spot for visitors to SRF International Headquarters. This graceful shrine, reminiscent of a small Indian mandir (temple), encloses the “spiritual wishing well” dedicated by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1934. In the cement base he made impressions of his hands and feet, and inscribed these words: “For Self-Realization I offer my hands, feet and soul, and I pray all may do the same”.
